Glasgow is a fascinating place and we know, from previously working there, that not only is it a superb venue but also that the greeting to all visiting athletes will be warm. So much to see, so much to do.
The biggest TV show we have ever seen.
An audience of over 1 billion across the globe will sit back and watch a mixture of sports showcase their athletes over 6 events in Glasgow, while the athletics championships will be hosted in Berlin.
Sadly, the usual ETU reporter will be unable to attend due to work commitments but ITU have stepped in with Ace-Reporter, Olalla Cernuda, who will bring her global experience and knowledge from the WTS and World Cup series to share news of the Elite individual Championships, the Mixed Relay and of course the massive Age Group Sprint Championships.
We will also have our ETU Media photographer there for you to capture some great moments; Elite, Relay and Age Group and these photos will of course be shared on our social media pages. (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)

Registration for 2020 Norseman Draw will be open from 21:00 CET, October 30th 2019 and remain open until 18:00 CET November 3rd. This is not first come first serve, as long you register before we close, you are in the draw.
Athlete Guide
You have to carefully read and understand our Athlete Guide before registering. We are following the competition rules of The Norwegian Triathlon Federation (NTF). The NTF competition rules adhere to the International Triathlon Union (ITU) competition rules. If your knowledge of Norwegian is limited, focus on the ITU competition rules.
Administration Fee
To register for the draw we will have an 'administration fee' of NOK 100 (approx. EUR 10). The fee will be split.* 75% to our charity partner. 25% to cover draw administration and live broadcast. In 2018 we donated USD 35 000 to Médecins Sans Frontières.
If you have applied for 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019 you will get additional chances in the draw based on the number of consecutive years you have applied.

If you get lucky
If you have luck in our 2020 draw, a mail will follow a day or two later containing a personal access code for our registration site. You will have until November 19th to complete registration and payment. If you have not completed your registration within this time limit, the slot will move on to our waiting list. The participation fee is NOK 3800. Payment = Confirmed slot. You will need a valid credit card, either Visa or Mastercard to pay (there is no exceptions to this).
Norseman Slots
We will award a total of 345 slots. By experience, this will leave us with about 290 athletes on race day. We have given careful attention to putting as many slots as possible into the draw.**
PRO/Elite invitational

Cap per country
Max participants drawn from one country is 10% of the Norseman Draw number.
Exeption: Norway, where max is 50% of the Norseman Draw number (has been around 30 – 35% the last years)
